This condition might seem mild and manageable, but when you experience back pains almost everyday, for several years, it can be irritable and exhausting. Damage in the back is a result from poor posture, strain, and other medical conditions. If this condition is prolonged, it might lead to more serious problems which can be difficult to treat by then.


As a matter of fact, back pains are caused by several factors, one of the most common are bad posture and accidents. Have you ever sat down with your back arched? If you do this frequently, then it can lead to back pain. On the other hand, some people who have gotten into accidents, have a greater risk of back pain along with other problems. Muscle or ligament strain - This occurs due to repeated heavy lifting or sudden movements that can strain back muscles and ligaments. This especially happens to people with poor physical conditions.


Bulging Or Ruptured Disks - The disks are cushions between the bones in your spine. Back pain may be caused by the material inside the disk to bulge and press on a nerve.


Arthritis - This can lead to a narrowing of the space around the spinal cord.


Scoliosis - This is a condition which causes the spine to curve to the side.


Osteoporosis - This causes the bones to become porous and brittle due to the development of compression fractures on the spine’s vertebrae.


Strain - Back pain is mostly caused by a strain, injury, or tension. These include, muscles spasms, muscle tensions, damaged disks, strained muscles, and injuries or fractures.


Sciatica - This causes a sharp and shooting pain that travels through the buttock and down the back of the leg, caused by a bulging or herniated disk pressing on a nerve.


Back pain can be a hindrance in your day-to-day routine, that’s why treatment shall be done as early as possible to avoid more problems. This condition shall not be treated lightly because of its risk factors. Here are several natural remedies for back pain without using medication.

Through following these steps, you may avoid back pain from happening.


Epsom Salt Bath


Epsom salt, also known as magnesium sulfate contains magnesium, oxygen, and sulfur. These particles can be absorbed through your skin which provides magnesium and sulfates. This is said to treat several conditions, one of them is relieving pain and stress. Oral magnesium supplements may benefit sleep, digestion, exercise, and pain. You can also try taking an epsom salt bath. This is the most common use for epsom salt. Do this by adding 2 cups of epsom salt to luke warm water in a standard-sized bathtub, then soak your body for at least 15 minutes.


Turmeric Milk

Consume turmeric milk before bedtime to allow its effectiveness to work while you’re asleep. For some people who are lactose-intolerant, they can try plant-based milk like almond milk.

Avoid Excessive Sitting


Sitting for long periods of time creates increased pressure in your spinal disks. For people required to sit in the office because of their work, are recommended to stand up every hour and walk a short distance to take the load off your disks.


Proper Posture


Now this is the most simple remedy for anyone of any age. Simply correcting your posture and adjusting your shoulder, neck, and especially your back will prevent stress on your spine. If you do have bad posture and are not treated, it will gradually worsen through age and increase pain.


Back pain is therefore a treatable condition and shall be treated immediately to avoid more problems and damage.
